Infusible Ink Demo at Michaels
Cricut asked the Product Experts and Blogger Partners to go to their local Michaels on June 21 for the in-store launch of the Infusible Ink product line. I went to the Michaels in Alpharetta and the manager asked if I could also do demos. Of course, I could. . .and did! It was so much fun!
Before I went to the store, I had my Cricut Maker draw some mandala designs with the Infusible Ink black pen. And I also cut some of our favorite bug from the green Infusible Ink Transfer Sheet. The customers and some staff colored the mandala images and/or weeded the bug head and we used the Easy Press 2 to transfer them onto small swatches of the same fabric used to make Cricut's Infusible Ink t-shirts. Everyone was pleased with how easy it was and how great the results were!
The shelves were stocked with Infusible Ink Transfer Sheets, blanks and all the other merchandise in the product line.
A couple of friends stopped by too! It was so much fun!

Cricut Announces Infusible Ink
Cricut has just announced an amazing new product line called Infusible Ink! They've taken vibrant ink colors and formulated them into transfer sheets that you can cut with your Cricut Explore or Maker and then infuse the color onto your blank with your Easy Press. The colors are durable and will not peel or flake or fade. How cool is that!
And Cricut has also put the Infusible Ink in both pens and markers that will fit in your Explore or Maker. You can have your Cricut do the drawing on plain laser copy paper, or you can freehand draw on the laser copy paper and then infuse the ink onto your blank with your Easy Press.
The Infusible Ink line will be available beginning June 16 online and June 21 in store exclusively at Michaels. In October, other vendors will begin carrying Infusible Ink products.

Giant Paper Flowers Created With My Cricut
These are giant flowers I created {along with the help of a couple of friends} using flower images from Cricut's Giant Flowers and 3D Floral Home Decor image sets.

The petals were cut using a Cricut Explore and Bazzil cardstock. All this cardstock became beautiful flowers {and leaves}.
They were assembled using hot glue.
The giant poppy
The giant peony
The small poppy
The giant bell flower
The giant lotus.
The small lotus beside the giant lotus. Both were huge!
And all the leaves! There are actually hundreds of leaves too!
Once delivered, the Event staff attached them to the backdrop and wood poles.
The flowers on poles decorated the doorways into the different ballrooms.
I wish we had taken some photos during the assembly. But we were working quickly to meet the deadline for the event. We used the instructions provided in the Cricut Handbook for each cartridge.
Let me know if you've made giant flowers!

Welcome!
Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog. I'm Paulette and I've had a Cricut since 2007. I'm currently one of 8 Cricut Product Experts and work with Cricut to educate their customers. I've been posting in my Cricut Lovers Guide to Design Space Facebook group since 2014. But some Cricut Lovers aren't on Facebook and some say it's cumbersome to be able to "pin" from Facebook. So this blog will be a companion to the Facebook group.
I do have an old blog, Around the Block with scrapalette, where I posted until a couple of years ago. That blog is still viewable and there are lots of Cricut projects and info there. However, the majority of posts/projects are before Design Space and the Explore and Maker. I do plan to post current projects and tutorials on this blog. I'll also update with links for my monthly giveaways!
So glad you stopped by!
